Wee Dog Design was created in 2002 by Robert Motyka - freelance graphic designer and visual artist offering his services in Edinburgh.

After graduating with a master degree in art education in 2001, Robert Motyka is constantly exploring his passion for combining art with IT. To improve his technical skills he studied in 2010/11 Audio Visual Technology at Stevenson College in Edinburgh.

Experience area of Wee Dog Design includes graphic and web design, audio visuals, motion graphics, filming and digital postproduction.

We produce and presents real time projections at events such as music festivals, concerts, clubnighths, theatre plays, fashion shows, art installations, balls.

We use our own library of video clips, animations and still images, but also we can include logos, still images and videos provided by our clients

We treat each graphic design project individually.

Designing is a conscious process of choosing right style, composition, colour palettes, typography, images, silhouettes, textures.

Graphic design involves both creative designer and artworker. Generally, the job involves two people. Robert Motyka has been filling both these jobs for many years.

We produce video trailers, short promo films. We use various techniques like combinign motion graphics with video footage. We produced promos for Play Poland Film Festival 2011 and Wee Dub Festival 2011.

FILMING / DIGITAL POSTPRODUCTIOn



Wee Dog Design with cooperation with a few camera and sound operators offers video and sound recording, digital postproduction and delivery in various digital platforms such as DVD, internet.

Videos produced by Wee Dog Design can be seen at BBC Big Screens, The Guardian , TV Polonia, The Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture, National Theatre of Scotland, Consulate General of Republic of Poland and The Lyceum Theatre websites.

We cooperate with IT programmers - MotixDesign, which are specialized in Web Development (frontend): HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery, Ajax and DOM Scripting). Action Script 1.0 and 2.0. They have full knowledge of Web standards ( layouts without use of tables, based on proper document structure). Web development (backend): PHP, MySQL, Postgress, Apache.

Miłosz in living pictures is an audio-visual spectacle inspired by Czeslaw Milosz's poetry. The project is a brainchild of a violist, composer, arranger, and producer, Paweł Odorowicz.
